Privacy Policy

Smart Vintage Scan is built to keep your data no more exposed than it needs to be. Here's the short version of what we collect and why.

What we collect

Your account info (email, and name if you provide one), the photos and item details you submit for analysis, your purchase history, and basic activity logs used for security and support.

How we use it

Photos and item context are sent to our AI provider to generate your appraisal report. Payments are processed by Stripe. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive only the account info needed to create and secure your account.

Storage & security

Photos live in encrypted cloud storage; account data lives in an encrypted database. Passwords, when you use one, are hashed and never stored in plain text.

Sharing

We don't sell your data. We share only what's necessary with Stripe (payments), our AI provider (analysis), and Google or Apple (if you choose to sign in that way).

Your choices

Delete any item — and its photos — from your Collection at any time. Delete your account entirely from Profile. Control what we email you from Profile → Notifications.
